Information for Vacation Rental/Property for Sale Advertisers and Renters
NOTICE TO ALL RENTERS AND
ADVERTISERS – It is
your responsibility to conduct your own investigation regarding any and all
claims made by prospective renters, vacation property owners or their agents.
You assume all liability for use of any information you find in any AGVR® (herein known as ”AGVR”) publication. The operators of AGVR® assume no responsibility and in no way warrant the
accuracy of the information contained in any of the pages published here. Not
all AGVR® listings are created directly by the
property owners, some AGVR® advertisers are acting as agents or
managers for the owners.
Renters are aware that each vacation
property owner sets their own Refund/Cancellation Policies - AGVR® recommends that renters ask for and receive a
written notice of the Refund/Cancellation policy from the advertiser and for
added protection, we recommend the purchase of Trip Cancellation Insurance at
your own expense (see InsureMyTrip.com for details). AGVR® is not responsible for the refund of rental fees for
any reason.
None of the information contained
in any AGVR® web page is confirmed or warranted by any
party. Confirmation of information published herein is the sole responsibility
of the renting party. See information about Protecting Yourself when dealing with
anyone you don't personally know. Qualification of all renters is the sole
responsibility of the property owner or agent.
Property Owners - If the operators of AGVR® are unable to provide the promised level
of service for any reason, including, but not limited to service outages, war,
acts of God or negligence, neither AGVR® or its owners can be held liable for any costs beyond
the prorated costs paid by the client for the services which were not provided.
AGVR® does not guarantee that the AGVR® web site will be available 100% of the time. This
Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the US Virgin Islands;
any and all disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the US Virgin
Islands, disregarding conflicts of law, forum and venue.
By using or continuing to use the
services of AGVR®, you agree to the terms and conditions of
this disclaimer.
NOTICE TO ADVERTISERS - Membership Cancellation Policy
AGVR® listings run on an annual basis. Due to
the fact that the vast majority of the work involved in promoting vacation
properties on the Internet occurs in the first few weeks (creating the ad,
adding photos, etc.) AGVR® is not able to offer a refund once your first
listing is online. No refunds on second or subsequent listings. For complete
details, please see our Refund Policy.
Property owners are responsible
for investigating and adhering to all local regulations including, but not
limited to, permits, licenses, occupancy taxes, and safety compliance.
PROPERTY OFF THE MARKET
You may temporarily deactivate or
activate a listing at any time using the listing update page. Your AGVR® listing stays in force through the original term and
the renewal date does not change (the renewal date will not be extended during
the time that the property is off the market).
PROPERTY SOLD
You may transfer your AGVR® listing to the new property owner for a one time $10
listing transfer fee (normally paid by the new property owner). NOTE: No refund
will be given.
SELLING AGVR® LISTING
Warning to potential purchasers
and sellers of AGVR® listings (we're talking about the sale of
the listing, not the sale of the property - you can of course offer to sell
your property): Since a property owner can create a new listing of their own at
anytime, AGVR® does NOT endorse or approve of the sale
or bartering of the AGVR® listing unless the property being
advertised is also sold to the same party. Any listing which is advertised for
sale or which we determine has been sold is subject to immediate cancellation
without notice and without refund.
ONE PROPERTY in ONE
LOCATION
AGVR® listings are designed to advertise ONE
PROPERTY in ONE LOCATION. If you sell your property and purchase a new
property in the same city/location, then you may modify your listing to
advertise the new property. However, if you sell your property and
purchase a new property in a new location, then you will need to create a new
listing. Once a listing is online, the location cannot be modified.
SPAMMING POLICY
AGVR® does not participate in or tolerate the
sending of Unsolicited Commercial Email (SPAM) - AGVR® reserves the right to cancel (without refund) any
member that mentions AGVR® or any of its associated websites, URLs,
or any associated AGVR® email address in any SPAM e-mail message
or Usenet posting. AGVR® is the sole judge in determining what
constitutes SPAM.
It is the goal of AGVR® to reduce the volume of SPAM delivered via the
Rental Information and Availability Request (Inquiry) form. To that end,
inquiries may be monitored and filtered by AGVR® prior to delivery to AGVR® members. Inquiries may be read by AGVR® staff members. Despite AGVR® filtering efforts, it is likely that some SPAM
inquiries will be delivered anyway. It is also likely that some non-SPAM
inquiries may not be delivered as a result of AGVR® filtering efforts.
RENTAL INQUIRIES
Rental inquires are delivered via
Internet email and are not to be considered private. Internet e-mail delivery
is not 100% reliable and AGVR® cannot be held responsible for
undelivered inquiries or for missed income as a result of undelivered
inquiries. AGVR®, at its own discretion, may supply to
potential renters the direct e-mail address and or phone number of AGVR® advertisers for the purpose of making a rental
inquiry.
MEMBERSHIP POLICIES
AGVR® reserves the right to reject or edit any
advert submitted at our sole discretion. Once material has been submitted,
edited and posted on the AGVR® web site, it becomes the property of AGVR® and its affiliated sites and may not be copied from
the AGVR® web site without written permission.

At AGVR® the goal is to offer the best in the most easy to

preserve a fair and orderly site for the advertisement of vacation rental and
for sale properties. Note that these policies are subject to periodic review
and may be updated at any time. Also see the disclaimer.
